As Vice President, Payment Optimization, Mantha is tapping into his more than 20 years of managed healthcare and payment integrity experience to help Discovery’s clients better control costs associated with incorrect billing and overpaid claims and to improve health plans’ administrative and medical loss ratios.

Before joining the Discovery Health Partners leadership team, Mantha spent more than two decades in a variety of operations and leadership roles supporting managed care organizations and building payment integrity programs. Most recently, Mantha led the development and deployment of prepay analytics solutions for a large global payment integrity company, supporting several top-10 health plans. Prior to that, Mantha was Senior Vice President at SCIO Health Analytics, where he delivered analytics solutions to support payment integrity operations, healthcare analytics, and global delivery operations.

Dan Iantorno

As Discovery’s Chief Information Officer, Dan is is responsible for building and maintaining a robust IT environment that supports the company’s business and growth strategies, as well as architecting technology solutions that deliver increasing levels of value for customers.

Prior to joining Discovery, Iantorno spent over two decades in technology innovation, executive leadership, and private equity transaction advisement in healthcare and other industries. He was formerly Chief Information Officer at The Allant Group and Valence Health (now Evolent Health), where he modernized payer and provider applications and infrastructure platforms and transformed IT operations to support the needs of those rapidly growing enterprises.

Dan is a graduate of University of Notre Dame, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business.

Kevin McDonald

Kevin McDonald

Vice President, Eligibility Operations

As Discovery’s Vice President of Eligibility Operations, Kevin is is responsible for Discovery’s COB and Premium Restoration lines of business.

Kevin is a senior healthcare executive with a wealth of operational, strategic, and client-focused expertise. Prior to joining Discovery, Kevin was a vice president at Cotiviti, where he was responsible for strengthening client relationships. Prior to that, he spent 10 years at HMS, in various senior leadership roles, including head of product management for HMS’s COB solution.

Kevin is an accomplished industry speaker and has presented at the Health Compliance Conference at the University of Rochester, the National Association of Medicaid Program Integrity’s (NAMPI) annual conference, and the California Association of Health Plan’s (CAHP) annual conference.

Kevin is a graduate of Union College, Schenectady, NY, where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and an MBA in Health Systems Administration.

Peggy Barber

Vice President, Client Operations

Peggy brings two decades of operations and client value expertise to her role as Vice President, Client Operations, for Discovery Health Partners. In this role, Peggy is responsible for bringing excellence to the client onboarding experience, driving higher client satisfaction, and optimizing the company’s training and quality programs.

Peggy is an accomplished executive leader with expertise in Payment Integrity; Fraud, Waste, and Abuse, and Medicare/Medicaid Managed Care. Prior to joining Discovery, Peggy was Vice President, Payment Integrity/Clinical Audits, for SCIO Health Analytics and oversaw new client implementations, operational and financial performance, and client management activities. Her earlier experience includes leadership roles at American Express, Express Scripts, and Humana.

Peggy received a Master’s degree in Organizational Management from University of Phoenix. She is also a graduate of University of North Florida.

Heather Rodemann

Vice President, Subrogation Operations

As Vice President of Subrogation Operations for Discovery Health Partners, Heather is responsible for directing the company’s Subrogation organization and driving continuous improvement in how the company delivers subrogation services for its clients.

Throughout her career, Heather has established herself as an innovative Subrogation expert. She spent 13 years at Optum, ultimately leading their Subrogation division where she was responsible for a 300-person team across 4 domestic locations and the Philippines, delivering hundreds of millions in recoveries annually for customers.

Heather received a Bachelor of Science in Management and Leadership from Cappella University and also holds an Associate of Science in Paralegal Studies.

Heather is an active member of the Women’s Health Leadership TRUST.

Jason brings a 20-year track record of creating value for high-growth companies and a passion for helping transform healthcare to achieve the Triple Aim to his role as CEO of Discovery Health Partners. Most recently, Jason was President of Health Plan Services, Market Operations, at Evolent Health (NYSE: EVH), where he was responsible for driving performance, growth, and profitability across the HPS business unit. Previously, Jason served as President of the Population Health Business for Valence Health prior to its sale to Evolent Health.

Jason’s early career experience includes working as a Director at Vista Equity Partners helping to implement Vista’s best-practice operating principles across their portfolio of leading enterprise software companies. Before that, Jason spent several years at MedAssets (NASDAQ: MDAS) in many senior management roles including serving as Chief of Staff and leading the company’s patient access solutions business. Jason’s other career experiences include investment banking for Goldman Sachs and strategy consulting with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG).

Jason is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Morehouse College and received an MBA from Harvard Business School.

As Vice President, Human Resources, Phil leads all aspects of human resources management for Discovery Health Partners, including talent acquisition, talent management, learning and development, and culture and employee engagement. Phil’s experience encompasses leading and managing all facets of HR across a variety of industries, including management consulting, technology, financial services and healthcare.

During his career, Phil has had the opportunity to build and scale two HR organizations for high-growth investor/PE-backed ventures, leading them from start-up through IPO/sale. Prior to Discovery, Phil served as the Vice President of Human Resources for Dearborn Advisors and as the Director of Organizational Effectiveness for TransUnion. Phil was also a Partner at Diamond Technology Partners where he established and led the HR and recruiting functions for the firm.

Leveraging more than 20 years of legal and healthcare industry experience, Liz provides decision makers across the organization with the information to make well-informed decisions, helping to ensure Discovery Health Partners operates in a legal and ethical manner. Liz counsels the organization on a broad range of healthcare regulatory, transactional, licensing, corporate governance, intellectual property, and privacy and compliance matters. Additionally, Liz leads the organization’s attorney and audit teams in connection with the delivery of Subrogation solutions. Before joining the company in 2008, Liz was a senior attorney with the law firm of Coghlan Kukankos LLC, where she grew and led the delivery of subrogation programs for numerous self-funded and insured health plans and litigated noteworthy intellectual property and employment practices cases.
