Marc McMorris is a co-founder and managing director at Carrick Capital, where he provides post-investment guidance to companies within the fields of BPO, transaction processing, and Software as a Service (SaaS). In addition to navigating growth opportunities for Discovery Health Partners, he serves on the board of directors for Complia, Infrascale, InfiniaML, PerfectSense, Saama, and Fair Issac Corporation. Before co-founding Carrick, Marc served as the managing director for private equity firm General Atlantic LLC (GA). Prior to GA, he was a vice president in Goldman Sach’s technology group and an associate at Morgan Stanley.

Marc holds an MBA with a concentration in Finance and Accounting from The Wharton School of Business of The University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Economics from the College of the Arts & Sciences, University of Pennsylvania.

Marc enjoys spending time with non-profit organizations such as Classroom, Inc., and Scholars for Educational Opportunity.

Chris Wenner

Chris Wenner

Chris Wenner is a director at Carrick Capital Partners and a member of the founding team. Chris leads the firm’s thematic sourcing effort focusing on healthcare, cyber security, and enterprise software. Chris serves as a board observer at Instamed and Complia Health. Prior to joining Carrick, Chris worked at the investment bank of Perella Weinberg Partners, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions and private capital transactions in the technology industry for clients including Oracle, Google and Hewlett-Packard. Chris graduated from the University of California with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.

Kenneth L. Coleman

As a Silicon Valley pioneer, Ken Coleman was the founder, former chairman, and CEO of ITM Software, an enterprise software company focused on the information technology function. Previously, he was EVP of global sales, services, and marketing for Silicon Graphics, Inc. (SGI). Prior to joining SGI, Ken was VP of product development at Activision. Earlier, he spent 10 years at Hewlett-Packard Company, where he held several management positions. Ken serves on the board of directors of CSAA Insurance Group, Entertainment Partners, Saama Technologies, and Complia Health. Previously, he was chairman of two public technology companies, MIPS Technology and Accelrys, and served on the board of City National Bank. Ken also currently serves as a mentor/coach for CEOs in the Silicon Valley technology sector and is an advisor to venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz. He also served as a captain in the United States Air Force.

Carol Lindstrom

Carol Lindstrom

Carol Lindstrom was, until her recent retirement, the vice chairman of Deloitte LLP. She joined Deloitte in 1993 to build and lead the technology consulting practice. During her tenure, she served as the advisory partner for some of Deloitte’s largest clients. She built and led the Strategic Relationship Management group and a relationship program focused on top global clients. She led Deloitte’s global and US alliances and built several technology businesses. Carol was a member of the Deloitte & Touche Board of Directors for six years, served on the Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu (DTT) Global Board of Directors for eight years, and was the president of the Deloitte Foundation for many years. Prior to joining Deloitte, she was a partner at Andersen Consulting. She currently serves on the board of directors of Genpact Ltd. (G), Exponent Inc. (EXPO), Energous (WATT), Entertainment Partners, and two not-for-profit boards: the St. Helena Hospital Foundation and the Workday Foundation.

Jason brings a 20-year track record of creating value for high-growth companies and a passion for helping transform healthcare to achieve the Triple Aim to his role as CEO of Discovery Health Partners. Most recently, Jason was President of Health Plan Services, Market Operations, at Evolent Health (NYSE: EVH), where he was responsible for driving performance, growth, and profitability across the HPS business unit. Previously, Jason served as President of the Population Health Business for Valence Health prior to its sale to Evolent Health.

Jason’s early career experience includes working as a Director at Vista Equity Partners helping to implement Vista’s best-practice operating principles across their portfolio of leading enterprise software companies. Before that, Jason spent several years at MedAssets (NASDAQ: MDAS) in many senior management roles including serving as Chief of Staff and leading the company’s patient access solutions business. Jason’s other career experiences include investment banking for Goldman Sachs and strategy consulting with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG).

Jason is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Morehouse College and received an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Mark Luck Olson is a healthcare strategist and executive advisor with deep expertise across the healthcare services landscape. He brings to LaunchPoint 25 years of experience driving growth agendas with senior leaders and a personal passion to help healthcare enterprises create a consumer-centric, value-driven healthcare market. Mark is currently President of Global Consulting Services for Decision Resources Group (DRG), a 900-person consultancy serving the healthcare and financial services industries. Prior to joining DRG, Mark founded ChapterHouse, a consulting firm providing strategy and growth advisory services to the healthcare marketplace. When ChapterHouse was acquired by Oliver Wyman & Associates, Mark became a Partner in the Health & Life Sciences division of this healthcare consultancy. Earlier in his career, Mark was a Director at Baxter Healthcare, where he initially met Paul Vosters and Terry Ryan, who were working together on a global data warehouse. Mark is also a member of the Board of Directors of Rolf Jensen & Associates, a global consulting firm. Mark holds a Masters of Business Administration in Corporate Strategy and Finance from The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and an undergraduate degree in Management from MIT.

Steve Unterberger is the Managing Director, Operations and Portfolio Committee chair at Carrick Capital Partners. Prior to joining Carrick, Mr. Unterberger served in several roles for Exult, Inc., a provider of business services related to human resources and business process outsourcing, from February 1999 to October 2004. While there, he was the Business Model Architecture President from June 2003 until it was acquired by Hewitt Associates, Inc. in October 2004. Before Exult, Mr. Unterberger was a US Executive Vice President of SHL Systemhouse, a $2 Billon IT Outsourcer acquired by MCI in 1995. He was also a Senior Manager at Pricewaterhouse Coopers. Mr. Unterberger holds a degree in economics from The University of Pennsylvania.

In addition to her role on LaunchPoint’s Board of Directors, Terri is an Advisor to NFANT and Medivo and has previously served as a Director and Chairman of the Board for Availity, Medecision, and Innovista Health Solutions. In her distinguished career, Terri has served as the Senior Vice President & Chief Health Care Management Officer of Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC); a Senior Vice President of HealthSouth; the CEO of CHA Health (a University of Kentucky Health System Health Plan); the CEO of United Healthcare of Georgia;, and the Regional Vice President of Aetna Health Plans. Her experience also includes executive roles with OnCare, PARTNERS National Health Plans, and the Voluntary Hospitals of America.
