ITASCA, IL (September 29, 2016) – On the heels of nationally recognized, award-winning revenue gains, LaunchPoint, the parent company of Discovery Health Partners, today announced the appointment of CEO Bruce Simpson. Simpson will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and growth of the company. As co-founder Terrence Ryan hands over the CEO reigns, he will continue to be instrumental in driving the strategic direction of LaunchPoint as he continues in his role as LaunchPoint’s Chairman of the Board.
“Bruce’s appointment builds on the recent executive appointments we have made, including the additions of a new board member, a COO and VP of Analytics, to help advance the leadership, depth, and breadth of an already scaling business,” states outgoing CEO Ryan. LaunchPoint board member Roderick Walker concurs, “Working hand-in-hand with the board, Terrence has continued in the same spirit to support bringing in new talent at the CEO level,” states Walker. “Rest assured, the Board will continue to leverage Terrence’s experience through the next phase of LaunchPoint’s growth.”
Simpson joins LaunchPoint with a long and distinguished history in senior executive and operating roles. Previously, Simpson has worked with recognized companies in the technology/software-as-a-service and telecommunications industries, including Novarra, Digi-Data, Lucent, Ameritech, and Octel.
