Job Title: Production Support Lead
Overview: Serves as a hands-on technical resource for a growing corporation working directly with management, staff, external clients and vendors. Has extensive and ongoing day-to-day contact with on-site and remote Users and key technology/systems supporting the company, affiliates and clients. Capable of carrying out responsibilities independently and with a high degree of professional accountability.
Responsible for managing the production load processes – using Informatica, SQL and Microsoft Analysis services – running the load processes, investigating/fixing load problems, and tracking defects for production issues. Responsible for configuring and maintaining windows environment including users/security groups, and MS SharePoint user administration. Responsible for tracking Service Level Agreements for production systems and ensuring that systems are operating at the contracted service level.
Responsible for installation, configuration, and ongoing support activity, including asset acquisition, asset management and inventory documentation. Serves as the First Level technical resource for hardware/software problem reporting, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
Position requires weekend production support as well as performing functions both on site at the office facility as well as remotely during published office hours as well as outside of normal business hours. On-Call support is required.
Primary Functional Job Responsibilities:
Informatica and SQL Support
- Run, monitor and maintain Informatica load processes on a scheduled basis
- Reseach and resolve data load issues
- Communicate data issues to client
Server Administration
- Monitor and report server availability and usage statistics
- Perform server administration; establish new user accounts and domain administration
Microsoft Analysis Services
- Maintain source for building of MS Analysis Services cubes
- Maintain source for MS Analysis Services reports
SharePoint Administration
- Establish and administer user accounts
- Establish and administer sites
Windows Environment Support
- Configure and maintain windows domain environment, security groups,
- Install/Configure Mobile Voice, Data, and Other Wireless Devices
Technical Support/End User Services
- Install/Configure PC/Computers, Printers, Peripherals, Telephones, Efax, and Other Office Equipment
- Install/Configure Mobile Voice, Data, and Other Wireless Devices
- Assemble or Prepare Documentation for Management and Users re Equipment, Software, and Systems Operations.
- Train Users in Basic Device and System Functionality as Required
- Maintain Inventory of Key Equipment/Software
- Troubleshoot, Diagnose and Assist in Resolving Hardware, Software and Network Problems
- Escalate to Service Vendors/Carriers as Necessary and Track to Resolution
- Document, Prioritize, and Track Internal/External Support Requests
Facility Day-to-Day Operations Support
- Provide Infrastructure and LAN Support – Wire, Cabling, Power, Printers, Copiers, LAN Switches and Modems
Requirements
- Good communication and people skills
- Good technical documentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- 1 or more year of Informatica experience
- 1 or more year of MS Analysis Services experience
- 2 or more year experience in SQL and data analysis
- 2 or more years experience in Desktop Services, End-User/Infrastructure Support, Help Desk environment support
- Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong Knowledge of Google Suite of Applications
- Working Knowledge of PC Imaging and Laptop Configuration
- Working Knowledge of Mobile Office and Wireless Technology
- Working Knowledge of Network and Communications
- Graduate of 4 Year College Program, preferably in IT/Computer Technology
